I found a pin for crockpot Paleo recipes recently, and the 40 Clove Garlic Chicken caught my eye. Here’s the recipe

And this is what it looked like at a little after 4pm just before it went into the oven to crispen the skin:
At this point the chicken had come up to temperature, and was falling off the bone. If you aren’t going to eat the skin, I’d suggest skipping the broiler step, and just remove the skin and serve.
I carefully strained the broth, then simmered cauliflower in the broth until fork-tender. The cauliflower and a small amount of the broth was then transferred to a bowl, so it could be whipped into Garlic Mashed Cauliflower (a potato substitute). Yummy!!
I forgot to take a picture of the plated meal, but it is a KEEPER!! Culinary success, and the house smelled fabulous – BONUS!
