This weekend the kids and I put a new spin on toilet-papering our friends… Not that I’ve ever taken my kids TP-ing.
We filled four dozen plastic eggs, made four of these little cards, and hid the eggs in the yards of four families we know. (In broad daylight)
We used the hashtag to encourage our friends to keep the fun alive! Here is the photo file so you can use this idea too!
My photo inspiration here came from Confessions of a Prop Junkie’s “Be Inspired: Snow” post, although the original picture is circulating Pinterest without photo credit or even a proper link. The three gals in my picture above had lots of giggles as we attempted to replicate the Britain Earl Photography shot. I’m definitely cruising those websites for more creative ideas!!
A 17-year-old living in suburban San Diego, Samantha can see exactly what her future holds – school, a job, and eventually a grown-up life in the suburbs. But she wants more. Adventure, travel, romance, excitement: she wants to have it all. When her hidden talent is discovered, a top-secret organization offers her everything she wants. There is just one rule: once she starts, she can’t go back.
Buy it on Amazon, iBooks and in the Sony store $3.25
I had the pleasure of visiting a middle school recently, where I observed students writing in their textbooks using this genius solution to the age old issue. This is one “best practice” that I can’t share enough!
I started writing this blog to record my attempts with all things Pinteresting. I’m so glad you’ve stumbled on it!
This morning I found a recipe for gluten-free pumpkin pancakes: http://www.houseofbrinson.com/home/2013/4/18/a-confession-pancakes.html#.UmPxNpm9LCR
I decided to alter it a bit, using coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, pumpkin pie spice instead of the individual spices, and milk instead of almond milk. I added almost a half cup more milk than the recipe requested, and it was still too thick for pancake batter… So I made waffles!
I love Vera Bradley products! I love getting all of the matching accessories, from stationary to wallets that coordinate with my favorite bags.
I must admit, I’m a little disappointed that the laptop skins are not being sold in the newest patterns. So when it was time for a new computer bag, I started with the available laptop skins, selected Hello Dahlia, then bought a bag to match!
But there are no stationary items (that I could use) left in Hello Dahlia so I was forced to get crafty!
With the strips of adhesive laptop skin left after outfitting my computer, and a little fancy patterned packing tape, I decorated a set of Moleskin notebooks. Not bad!
